Christmas Market around the Old Town Hall in Göttingen

Around the medieval Old Town Hall and St. John’s Church, the Christmas market of the university city Göttingen has its traditional place. At over 80 festively decorated stalls, you will find a multitude of typical Christmas articles including candles, jewellery and Christmas tree decorations. Many artisans and craftspeople demonstrate their skills and invite you to come and explore. Enhance the joys of the Christmas season by tasting christmassy treats and mulled wine on your stroll around the market. The imposing St. John’s Church shines in new splendour in the middle of the Christmas market.
