Nature Experiences in Göttingen

As a modern hub of science, Göttingen is always at the cutting edge. Three universities, five Max Planck Institutes, and numerous other research institutions are constantly working to make our lives better. And, of course, the issue of sustainability is playing an increasingly crucial role in this. But even beyond these institutions, the Göttingen region has made significant progress in recent years. Projects like the Climate Protection Days, featuring numerous initiatives on sustainability, have been a fixture on the calendars of Göttingen residents and visitors for years. Climate-friendly shopping is a given in many stores and is supported by the city through the Göttingen Climate Card.
