Reisemobilhafen Göttingen: “Top place” near the city center
The Göttinger Reisemobilhafen is a successful example of how the interests of motorhome owners can be combined with the conditions in a large city that is attractive to tourists.
The Eiswiese motorhome site, which is fenced in and illuminated on all sides, is in an excellent location: Situated within a green belt near the Kiessee lake, directly bordering the Leine river, in a very quiet location and yet close to Göttingen’s historic city center. It is only a 10-minute walk to the old town, where the medieval town hall, churches, half-timbered houses, pubs, street cafés and many stores invite you to stroll and visit. And last but not least, a visit to the Gänseliesel, the “most kissed girl in the world” who greets you from the market fountain, is an absolute must.
The total of 28 level and paved parking spaces are generously parceled out with a width of 5.50 m and a length of 10 to 12 m. Environmentally friendly supply and disposal facilities are of course available. The Eiswiese bathing paradise with its huge sauna area and the Brauweg outdoor pool are right next to the square, while the Göttingen sports park and the Kiessee lake with boat hire, fishing and water sports offer numerous leisure activities in the neighborhood.
