Europe’s largest quadriga can be found on the portico of the residence palace. This palace, the residence of the Guelphs, was reconstructed in its original size and in its original setting, the Schlossplatz, with the help of old plans and historical photos. The adjoining shopping mall ‘Schloss Arkaden’ contains approximately 150 shops and restaurants.
