Around the Gänseliesel, in the heart of the old town, the romantic Göttingen Christmas market takes place. More than 70 stalls sell typical Christmas items, wooden toys and much more. Artisans show their skills in the wooden stalls decorated for Christmas. The festively decorated streets of the city invite you to go shopping.
