Every year, Goslar sparkles with festive cheer: At the Christmas market, the air is filled with the enticing scents of cinnamon, baked apples, and roasted almonds—Christmas is in the air! Romantically framed by the market square, 80 lovingly decorated wooden huts invite you to stroll and indulge. A special highlight is the Christmas Forest at the Schuhhof. Surrounded by 60 illuminated evergreen trees, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a hot drink. The atmospheric lighting and the lively bustle create an unforgettable Advent experience.
Since last year, the Goslar Christmas market has officially been recognized as one of the most beautiful in Europe and bears the “Excellent European Christmas Market 2025” seal.
