Vacuum tube collectors support the heating system, which operates without radiators and provides warmth via a ventilation system. Fresh air is conditioned via underground ducts. The building is designed to be experienced as a low-energy house because the use of photovoltaic and thermal solar energy has been visibly and tangibly integrated into the building’s design.
