In summer, the Maschseefest transforms Hanover’s lakeside promenades into a lively festival mile with over 200 live acts and international gastronomy. On the first weekend of the festival, parts of the finals (German championships in many sports) also take place in Hanover and around the Maschsee – a highlight to kick things off.
