Press release: New spokespersons for the marketing cooperation “9 cities + 2 in Lower Saxony”
The marketing cooperation “9 cities + 2 in Lower Saxony” has a new line-up: Fritz Ahrberg, Managing Director of Hildesheim Marketing GmbH, has been elected as the new spokesperson. The new deputy spokesperson is Marina Vetter, Managing Director of GOSLAR marketing gmbh.
The two succeed Hans Nolte (Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH) and Harald Wanger (Hameln Marketing und Tourismus GmbH), who retired at the turn of the year.
“Hans Nolte and Harald Wanger have shaped the international marketing cooperation for many years with great commitment, vision and reliability. We would like to thank them both very much for this,” says Fritz Ahrberg. “On this successful basis, we would like to further develop the cooperation between the cities and strengthen our joint presence in the international target markets.”
With the change in leadership, the marketing cooperation is focusing on continuity and the targeted further development of its international activities.
The marketing cooperation “9 cities + 2 in Lower Saxony” includes the cities of Braunschweig, Celle, Einbeck, Göttingen, Goslar, Hameln, Hanover, Hildesheim and Wolfenbüttel. The Autostadt in Wolfsburg and Hannover Airport support the cooperation as strategic partners. The cities have been working together internationally for over 40 years. The most important target markets are Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. The spectrum of marketing activities ranges from appearances at trade events, cooperation with tour operators and publications in travel magazines to comprehensive online and digital campaigns.
