In the newly built summer residence of the summer residence of the Guelphs, the Herrenhausen Palace Museum explains the history of the gardens. Precious testimonies of the baroque culture of representation provide insights into life at the court of the Hanoverian princes. In the east wing many famous personalities, such as the polymath Gottfried Wilhelm Wilhelm Leibniz and Electress Sophie.
The treasury shows precious exhibits of the baroque period and in the west wing changing special exhibitions provide provide insights into exciting thematic worlds.

April to Oktober: daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
November to March:  Thurs – Sun 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
