The museum right in the middle of the historical centre of Hameln is housed in the wooden-framed “Stiftsherrenhaus” and the “Leisthaus” with their Weser-Renaissance style architecture. Its exhibitions present:

  • the legend of the Pied Piper
  • the history of Hameln
  • coin-making

  • arts and crafts: pottery from Hameln
