360 kilometers of cycle paths in the city and 170 kilometers of cycle paths through Hanover’s green oases such as the Eilenriede city forest, the Leine floodplains or around the Maschsee lake. Hanover is not only one of the greenest but also one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in Germany. Six signposted routes lead through and around the city.
