With a length of more than 6.5 kilometres, about 6,000 participants and more than 200,000 spectators the „Schoduvel“ is the biggest carnival parade in all of northern Germany. The parade lasts for about four hours. Carnival sweets en masse are scattered from the carnival trucks.
