At Advent time, the glow of lights, atmospherically decorated stalls and the smell of mulled wine and roasted almonds return to Celle’s old town. Lovingly decorated huts and stalls are set up in the light-filled alleys and squares of the old town, inviting visitors to stroll around the market and do their Christmas shopping in the town centre. High-quality arts and crafts, mulled wine and a select range of food offer an atmospheric setting in the Advent season.
